Incubus is pretty good. You should try the new album.

Then you're probably missing out on a lot of good music.

i think theyre a great band.....they go off on some musical tangents...much like STP used to. I like it when bands arent afraid to play a good song thats maybe a little outside theyre genre.

I like them quite a bit. Very talented. And while I won't go out on a limb and say that they're my favorite band, I have yet to really run in to too many songs by them  that I don't like. Seem to have there own style to them in a way.

Not bad either.:grin::thumbup:

They're okay.

My friend was playing one of their CDs a while back.. and near the end of it there was this trippy little sitar number, but I dunno what it was called. It was really neat.

Lucky for me, the quality of your posts speaks for itself. Therefore, I couldn't care less what you think. Works out great.

I will elaborate for the original poster: All I'm trying to say is that you can enjoy a lot more music if you get over surface-reactions and delve deeper into the feeling and expression being put forth by the artist.

Aqueous Transmission.

Definitely one of their best. Gotta love how it just blends into an ambient repetition towards the end, which in turn fades into the sweet chirp of a chorus of frogs. :smile: It's absolutely wonderful on a trip, because it sort of leads you back out of the music and back down to the natural ambience of your experience.

Almost all the softer tracks off Morningview kick ass on a good dose. Especially:

The message and meaning of a song means nothing to me if the medium is not aesthetically pleasing to my personal sensibilities. You know...that's kind of the way art works.

Also I don't think flaming is allowed in the Pub.

Or you could just not like someone because of a singer.
Why is it so fucking hard for people to understand that music is subjective, seriously. The dude doesn't like Incubus, he's not missing any good music if he doesn't like what he doesn't listen to.

How are you to say he hasn't given Incubus a fair chance and just can't get over the singer's voice? I find the same thing happened to me with Wolfmother, that dude's voice is so god damned annoying.

IDK. I think I might be able to dig up a few old good pictures of Brandon Boyd and resolve that issue.

:grin: I kid....sorta.
