i might get a package from mushy mart today, and if i do, i have a few jars of WBS orissa indian, but this one has the most growth
should i let it keep growing before spawning? or is this fine? im talking about the LEFT JAR, the right one obviously needs more time

let it sit and consolidate (i think thats what RR refers to it as) while you wait for your other jar.
i'm a little confused about the jar on the right... whys the foil under the lid? and where's the micropore tape over the hole that you should put there after injecting spores...
and for that matter why is the foil still on the left jar, i take off my foil right before inoculation, it never goes back on until the next set of jars gets pc'd (reusing foil fit to your jars is an excellent idea btw, you can usually get 3-5 uses with one before it's ruined. the foil is only used to keep the water in the pc from getting on the lid where you usually have holes and a tyvek filter or synthetic filter disc.
when you inoculate you should remove the foil and not replace it, it blocks gas exchange... you should cover your holes with a gas permeable tape such as micropore.

you're right, i took off the foil. i didnt have any tyvek so all i did was inject a layer of foil, then put the lid on

even without tyvek all you need is micropore tape which is relatively cheap for a roll that will last many jars and pretty much essential unless you use pre-made specialized lids.
you NEED a filter of some sort, and tyvek is free.
a bit late for this time around, but don't forget in the future...

let the other catch up to it, unless you plan on spawning them separately.
it wont hurt it to sit and wait a little bit longer, and if you bought prepasteurized bulk substrate you don't want to open it and use part then wait a few days for the other jar to spawn it, you want to use it all at once. IMO
