Texas is anything but dry near the gulf. Houston area often has 80-100% humidity, you cant walk outside without your glasses fogging up, and if you got long hair like me it sucks for frizzies

Awesome pics!!

#6 (last one in second row) is Mimosa pudica. I love this plant. I have many growing in my garden here, and the kids love it. I can leave children in my garden for hours to watch the leaves shut and open every time you touch them.

People still arent sure why they have this turgor pressure-drop response !
The rest of the pics of the flowers are also very cool.

What a beautiful morning.:)

I like Texas now. I think Ill have to visit.

it has really been nice the last couple of days. Good hunting weather.

I've been getting off early lately too, so I'm itching to hit a park or field and see what I can find. Some gyms would be a great way to spend the afternoon.

Gyms have started turning active around here (Dallas). I think this weekend me and my friends are going in the morning to a soccer field that gets watered every night to look for pan subbs and gyms in the sorrounding woods. How much luck have you guys had with big soccer fields?
