Nothing to worry about. They puff up for a few days like they're all excited by the air. Then they return to normal, and then they pin. You're in good shape.

I've gotten these consistently, and I've had PF's strain the whole way, I've heard some others complain about it too, and I'm wondering if it's specific to PF. in the end they might become mushrooms, or they'll turn into little balls of shroom material (like dense stem material) I don't know too much about why they grow, but I do know they're *very* potent, make sure that you save them after they grow big enough to pick, I usually took mine when they were about 1/4" across
