This board has really changed

It had been a few months before I logged into the shroomery when I stopped by to say hello last night. Right after I moved to this new city in March, the physical and mental well being board was the reason why I stayed after I stumbled into the shroomery looking for a weed connection . This board is completely different now. Where are those intense deep thinkers that used to grace this board?
Not that I'm not into light bullshit talk as in the Pub, but I just read a thread about cumming while taking a dump in the physical and mental board. Change happens I guess.

If in a few months you visited the city from which you just moved, it will have changed.
People come, people go.
The people on this board I enjoy the most are the ones who were around when I first joined in '04. Those were the people I had an immediate connection with. I come and I go now as well.
Not to say though...
There are still quality posters here, but it's harder to see who they are when you're used to the people you first met here. Stick around for a while longer this time instead of perusing for a day or two, and you'll see the good ones emerge.
School's back in session, too. September is usually when I notice a flock of morons

So you cant have humour and deep thinking in the same place?. Though I didnt find the "cumming while taking a dump" funny at all thats just my personal taste and imho blame the mods for not deleting it, isnt it their job to keep this forum on track?. This isnt an anonymous forum for a reason.
Though I can understand if the deep thinkers see too many joke posts they'll get the impression theres less of their kind and few will take to heart what they wrote so it wont be worth the effort to write something up.
Personally I usually have phases where Im more inclined to delve into those "deep thinker" posts but if Im not in that phase doesnt mean I completely ignore them either. If they post enough they'll attract enough of their own kind and it should naturally drown out the more silly posts but like WoodsCall said ppl come and go.
Write up your own deep post to make up for it?, just an idea.

Sooo... one inappropriate post means the board has gone to shit?
For the record, I left that post because it was a legitimate question. Whether or not he was serious was yet to be determined at the beginning. Granted, I may have failed to follow up on it.
Also, just because he interpretted the situation in a rather vulgar manner doesn't mean it wasn't a serious post. Perhaps he was leaking some kind of mucous while taking a dump, which could be a sign of some sort of infection and is therefore a legitimate physical well-being question.
If you look around, you will find that 99% of this board is still the way it used to be. Don't let one questionable post drive you off.

No, nothing has driven me off. I think I will revisit this place many times over the years. I'm learning the seasons of the shroomery too. I joined in the dead of winter. Just different kind of talk. I get it.

I would post intelligent stuff here, but I've never had any experiences like the one you mention
