DON'T TASE ME, BRO. He got what was coming to him. He was yelling, flailing his arms around and making a scene. He's a bitch.
On another note, the book he was waving around by Greg Palast is a damn good book.

It's the fact that they tased him in the first place, although, I'll admit, I was wrong on "tased repeatedly", I mistook one of the camera shots as a taser flash. Frankly, I'm amazed they didn't shoot the kid.
Florida cops are corrupt, even if this incident is considered by some not to be. Not that there isn't corrupt cops everywhere, just Florida has the largest number of them. I've seen much worse happen off the camera here in Florida.
In anycase, this incident has went international, and if the Campus Police were in the "right", why would the officers who made that bad call be put on Administrative leave?
But if you have any doubts to how fucked up Florida is, just check out the DOC's website, and look at the sentences this state hands out.
Alright, I'm done ranting, we'll see how it all plays out I'm sure.

So you are saying they did this because they are on the take?

I never said that at all, you misinterpreted what I stated. I'll break it down for you:
"Florida cops are corrupt"
*First part of the statement, indicating that a large number of police in the state of Florida are corrupt in thier actions.
Corruption defined as being guilty of dishonest practices, such as bribery; lacking integrity; crooked; debased in character; depraved, etc.
",even if this incident is considered by some not to be."
*Second part of the statement, preceded by a "comma," a comma is an indication of a pause, break or separation in a sentence. In the preface it was used, the comma indicates some do not hold this to be true, well at the same time not placing a biased view-point on the subject myself.
Placed in conjunction, it is evident I hold an unbiased stance on the issue. I think the police officer(s) who made the call to tase the youth was in the wrong, but from my prior statements in this thread it is also evident I believe the youths actions to be rather excessive.
Did I state the police involved were all corrupt or in cahoots in any way, shape or form? I certainly did not. This topic is all in how you interpret it, plain, and simple.

There's no justification for them tasering him; they had him restrained and they tasered him as a punishment. How did they even think they could get away with that? And have they been prosecuted?
