Zero 7 - Are there any other bands similar to this band.....?

I *usually* prefer heavy metal and harder rock, but these guys have something....! I got their "Simple Things" CD, and I don't like all of the songs, but there are 3 real nice jems that have a hold on me.....
"Destiny" CD version:
"Waiting Line" - CD version: This is the song that made me notice the band - it was an "end song" to an episode of "House".... I might have never heard of them any other way, as I usually listen to CDs - not the radio....
"Distractions" - CD version: (Weird video....!)
So, are there any other bands that have this kind of sound - soulful, mellow mood type stuff....?

I like it.. it's refreshing to hear a female voice

Uh yeah, Zero 7, just found them myself. They are really good. I like the LP "The Garden." It sounds like old hippie stuff to me. It reminds me of N.E.R.D. Maybe you should check them out. Kind of polyglot with soul.

Hey mate, zero 7 is trip-hop - you can listen to fathers of this style - massive attack, portishead, tricky.
hope this helps

Hey, nice bump....! I had forgotten about this thread.... Prompted me to put the one CD in that I have "Simple Things" for a listen later.... I like their diversity, they have at least 2-3 female singers, a male singer, and some instrumentals - but none of the songs feature all of the singers at once.... But, I don't like all of the songs on the CD either.... I was drawn to the female vox of the songs/vids up above....

Air is a really good French group that reminds me of Zero 7; check out the album La Femme d'Argent.

check our beth gibbons solo works too - it's not so trip-hoppie, more instrumental, but there is is trip hop spirit in that sound and she has that beautiful voice that hypnotizes me... but she smokes - i hate women that smoke
