Okay, i have had this LC sitting in the incubator for a while now i am not sure how long maybe a month but i am starting to worry its going to go bad... First, of all how long does the food last in a LC?
Second, can i add more food to the LC? third, how does one know if it is out of food or starving? fourth, how can you tell if it is dying ?

Judging by the questions, I'd say you didn't do enough research ahead of time on LCs. Any way, the answers are as follows, assuming you mean "food" as inoculate.
A) LCs can last 6 months to a year if refrigerated in a dark environment, and kept air tight.
B) Yes you can add more inoculate, but if you haven't seen any growth in a month, you messed something up. Start over.
C & D) It's not like an animal, it doesn't eat food, it wicks nutrients, and it'll get contaminated way before it "dies."
Bottom line - Abort, go back and do WAY more research, and take another stab at it. You might also consider reading up on the growth cycle of fungi. Good luck.
