c'mon... be honest, its anonymous
when posts are tied to names, everyone talks all hard like they wouldn't take a deal
I find it hard to believe
Knowing the inherent self-preservatory nature of people
I think most would sing like a canary if faced with hard time...

When I was 6 or so I told my mom that my brother (age 8) was playing with matches (which he did) on his room.
He got out of it by hiding the matches on my room and then leading my mom to them, and getting me punished for it.
This would be amusing if it wasn't symptomatic for what a sneaky cunt my brother was and has remained all his life. He likes to manipulate people and I strongly suspect him of actually taking pleasure in making people suffer and otherwise feel bad.
I don't think he's a psychopath but he definitely has strong traits of it throughout his life.
I love him for his good side, but why does he have to be such a underhanded sneaky bastard so much of the time?

hmmm
I used to sell. got pretty deep into it. nothing like selling dope to make someone a pessimistic cynic. I mean, you're constantly exposed to the worst elements of society.
So one day I was sitting around just thinking, and I started thinking about, you know, can I really trust my customers? I mean, if one of them got busted and faced these awful draconian penalties, would they care enough about my well-being to keep their mouth shut?
well, the conclusion I came to was 'no'. I mean, drug commerce doesn't necessarily mean real friendship. And you can always find another drug dealer. I don't think most people really respect their dealers like that. Mostly what I saw was a bunch of kids jealous because all their money ended up in my hands.
So thats why when a few people real close to me got popped, I took all my money off the table and got out of the game. Moved to a new town even. I just didn't trust them not to snitch. I think it was a wise decision on my part.

I think this is one of those things where you don't really know what you would do until you were in that situation. People can say whatever, but it doesn't mean shit when they are sitting in their homes. It all comes down to the wire when you're in that hotseat with the bright lights on ya!

Well I used to sell like a fucktard back in the day. When I was just turning 17 I lived in an apartment above a bar. Me and my two roommates had a sweet weed hook up ( among other things but that's all we sold....maybe acid here and there but the cops never knew that ) and we all three sold to about 30 people total ( dumb as shit trust me ) We didn't even have good deals.
Well eventually weird shit started happening. This guy came over and hung out with us when we were partying with about 15 people. This guy acted like he'd always known us ( or my roommates ), he acted shady as fuck and then left. I ask who the fuck was that guy? My roommates thought he was my customer...so...he was a complete stranger...in our house.....that watched us do a bunch of business.
Next month or so my house got robbed twice. Shady wiggers I knew from highschool started buying off me ( I'm an idiot once again ), and one bitch wore a wire in.
She got popped for some stupid shit, beating up some chick in her house....facing small time....probation probably.....and she wore a wire into 6 peoples houses. Me and my pals being one of em.
She came back the next day with an undercover and said he was her cousin. My roommate sold her cousin a half. A week later her cousin calls me looking for an ounce. I tell her cousin to fuck off. She calls me and asks why I won't sell to her cousin, my roommate yells he will kill that bitch if her cousins a narc. Two seconds later I had an undercover car with 3 undercovers in it at my front door.
They told me they knew everything I did. Asked about all the people who came to my house. I said I didn't know shit........until it came down to all the shady wiggers......
I ratted em all out. I knew they had done it to me. I knew who the informants were that were coming over. We just figured it out through all the bullshit they pulled ( not caring how much we charged them, always saying it was for someone else, buying a half ounce and taking half of it saying it was for their friends, finding out through the grapevine who robbed us ) fuck those guys.
They robbed me. They insulted me. They ratted on me.
I dropped the ball right back, when the cops asked their names I nodded yes, I knew it wouldn't solve the problems ( it actually did ) but it might help get the cops out of my house enough to get all my illegal shit out ( it did ).
They asked if I would wear a wire into a few said wiggers houses and buy shit. I said ok ( at the time ) and they left......literally, they said they'd be back to set something up, and they left.
We cleaned the house, spotless, no drugs at all. Then we moved out.
I left the county.
My friend gets a call from the undercover, saying he told him we'd wear a wire. We tell the guy it isn't happening. Tell him I don't care how much I don't like someone and value my freedom I won't do it. The cop said we will indict you and you will go to jail....it will take a couple weeks, but we will be there.
Well all that happened 5 years ago and nothing ever happened. Those dudes we nodded yes to never got busted. We never got raided. And those cops never called us again.

yeah, roommates are a bad thing when dealing. once I lived with two other guys. we all sold shit.
then one day my roomie brings these shady mofos up in the crib. he just met these dudes off the street, and he's sellin them pills.
well, a few days later these same dudes bust in, talkin about this is a stickup, gimme yo shit. so we lost a buncha money and dope. Just because this dumbass roomie of mine trusted the wrong people.
after that, I went off on my own. only sold to people I knew real well. never had any problems.
the moral of the story is, you can't trust other people's judgement. only your own. If you're slangin, fuck havin roomates. Just one more random factor in the equation that could go wrong.

the only reason(s) I would ever snitch on someone/cut a deal with leo to nab someone else is if that person a) was the sole reason my actions were discovered and was the reason I was arrested to begin with, b) they were one hell of an asshole to everyone and no one liked them anyways, c) any other deep personal reason
if it was someone I didn't like, that's not enough for me to rat them out when I was being arrested for my own actions

a friend of mine was a narc for a while not an ass, though. the guy he was narcin on was on his way to jail anyway.. and the shit he bought off him and gave to the cops, that was supposed to be 2 E pills.. was just an herbal supplement. Apparently the plan was for them to get that, bust other guy, and try to make him squeal on where HE was getting it. The answer to that turned out to be GNC so they just forgot about the whole damn thing.
Srsly, narcing on someone selling bunk shit, I can't say I don't support that. Especially someone already on their way into the can for assault.
Now, in college, I knew a guy who got narced out. By his best buddy. The two of them were slangin rolls, apparently his buddy got nabbed. Well, dude A started acting real shady all of a sudden. Turns out he thought something was up.. we didn't know that at the time. At the time, dude B told us that dude A got busted and was narcin out everybody. We got nervous. Dude A got out later, dude B disappeared. Dude A told the tale of how his best buddy from grade school narced him out and then took all his customers (and upped the price for everything). That's fucking lame.
I've got family who've done time for slingin shit.. did the time, never cut any deals. You get caught, YOU fucked up. Deal with it.

That sucks, counterfeit money is a good victimless crime.
