If you take a thermometer and place it above your fridge you'll notice that it is a few degrees warmer than the rest of your house.

it's likely warmer behind my desktop PC
it seems like everything set on top of the fridge, even the stuff in plastic containers is colder than room temp
do your jars usually feel cold to the touch?
thx wutang, those are brazillian i'll get some more pics of those up soon, i've gotten such a large amount of substrate from only 3/4 of the syringe i got from ralphsters
looking to case some amazon and ecuador next only a week or so on those
waiting on 1 orissa rye cased and 1 i'm fruiting without a casing layer

The outside of my jars are cool to the touch but the inside is warmer. I'm just trying to offer some advice. I wouldn't set them on the ground if thats where your pc is. On top of the tower is a common place to put jars as well.

you can make a pretty cheap incubator by assembling a heatbomb do a little searching, the tek is ez enough
i also like to incubate for the sake of isolation
though i will admit, it isn't completely neccesary

UPDATE!!!!
it's been a little bit longer than i expected to be but i FINALLY got some good signs from them.

And yeah i ditched the incubator

In the second picture it looks like some mycelium growing on the base of the stem is that anythinig i should be worried about? Thanks guys
it looks like it's gonna be a pretty small flush
I'm planing on dunking the cakes after i harvest and then moving the cakes out of the bags
