Odor!! Possible contam?

ok so i have a cheap-ass 4 qt pressure cooker (cuz i got it for cheap) and i only run a relatively small scale operation.
I have tested two different formulas for the BRF PF cakes, one with more water(as much as the verm could hold and the other with less. I did not put a verm layer over either one.
I PCed them 4 by 4 so on 9/11 i pced the first one for 40 minutes and left it to cool for like twenty one hours
then i pced the 2nd batch(the last four) for 30 minutes. and let it cool for maybe ten hours.
remember none of them have a dry verm layer at the top( i skimmed over the instructions, noob thing since im a first timer.)
Its been five days and the first batch(4) grows vigorously and has no sign of any contam. I overinjected some spore solution into the first back so for the last one, i had to do half john allen strain and half b+ strain. I will supply pics later.
However, the second batch has only tiny spots around. It does not have any awkward colors though. But it smells REALLY REALLY bad, a thick smell of maybe rotten something. I smelled the first batch and it smelled like dirt, not like a thick aroma of rotten shit. Should I chuck them out?
I am guessing these are the most probable three things that happened:
A) Bacterial growth in the 2nd batch due to bacteria surviving the pc/airborne bacteria/excess water.
B) Spores in the B+ strain had bacterial infection
C) I am worrying too much???/
Should i throw them out??
Also, is mycelium supposed to have water droplets on the outside of the glass cup??
Thanks for your time.

you're lack of dry verm layer is the problem, if it smells foul you likely have a contam, if you ahve any good ones still cover the holes with micropore tape...

Little droplets may be metabolites.
But the smell will tell- real myc smells mushroomy. If yours doesn't smell like mushrooms, and doesn't smell like brown rice flour... it's probably not good.

I think cubes smell like mushrooms. Like store mushrooms. Not identical, but similar. And mycelium does too- the first time I opened a colonized grain jar, I was giddy with excitement- I knew it was good, I could smell it.
A small amount of metabolite might be clear. Or it could be water and bacteria. Hard to say for sure, really. Pics might help.
