Obesity disgusts me

It really really does. When I see massively overweight people I just want to vomit. Especially so when I see these same people scarfing down potato chips and McDonald's.
I just watched some show where they put a fat suit on some girl and followed her around with a hidden camera to show what it's like "to be obese in America". They showed people pointing at her and clerks not being prompt and such. I'm sorry but I don't feel bad at all for them. If you're a fucking lazy slob who eats garbage and doesn't exercise then you deserve to be made fun of like the cellulite-ridden piece of lard that you are.
Fuckin' fatties.

And why do you hate them? You might as well just ignore them and mind your own life.

I used to be a fatty, but I lost all that weight, and I'm glad I did.

Anybody who is that slovenly and who cannot care for their bodies properly elicits disgust in me. I can't help it or ignore it.

Fat people are fat in America primarily because of economics.
500 years ago the only fat people were the rich, the people who could lounge around all day eating food. The working man & woman were skinny because they worked the land.
Today, in America, most fatties are fat because they can not afford good food.
Do you know what it costs for me to eat? I shop at Whole Foods, and just 2 bags of groceries is over $100. One single organic apple is $2.75 -- that is the cost of eating right.
When you're poor and only have $5 in your pocket, are you going to Whole Foods or are you going to Wendys?

I don't think eating organic is these people's problem here
Any old supermarket has healthy food. It may be "non-organic", but apples aren't 3 bucks a pop at A&P

I'm not saying you have to eat organic to be healthy/skinny.
But $10 at the grocery store doesn't buy you much, does it?
$10 at Wendy's does. Also for more people too.

You can put a healthy meal together for as much as any fast food meal. Even if you can't it may save and prolong your life in the long run. Fat people don't have foresight. They aren't hurting me though. Why should I care what they do to themselves?

If you think fast food is more cost-effective than groceries, then you sir are terrible at grocery shopping.
Fat people are fat because they are unhappy, and dirty food distracts a person from their unhappiness for a bit.

Junk food creates depressions. So somehow they are related.

wow.. some people's children.. I'm a big girl.. but FAR from obese.. I'd say I'm 25-30 pounds overweight.. yea its never pleasant to look at an excessively overweight person.. but that fact that some of you people are pointing and laughing is just wrong.. do you know what that does to a person psychologically? it depresses a person to no end.. and then clearly when an obese person is depressed they turn to food for comfort.. so if you people want less overweight people out in public.. how bout not pointing and laughing like a 5 year old.. we are all human beings.. that is like laughing at a cripple because they are criple.. no wonder suicide is at an all time high!

If you think fast food is cheap you are kidding yourself. Fast food is expensive, only rich people can afford it.
I just saw an ad asking to donate $20 which can feed a family of four for a week. You can live along time off of a few dollars worth of rice and corn.

that, along with wheat has sustained mankind and been the primary source of nutrition for tens of thousands of years. Even today, most people's diet consists of one of these cereals (over 50%). Only in select few places are people rich enough to eat meat, dairy, or processed sugar every day.

It's not expensive to go buy rice and beans from a store.
Also, how expensive will it be to get health insurance when you're 50 pounds overweight and wracked with diabetes at age 45?

its true.. fast food industries are evil.. if they can ban smoking.. they should be able to ban the grease that is in all the fast food as well.. its all a health hazzard!

You know how much a box of whole wheat pasta costs? The shit is good as hell for you and it's like two dollars a box.
"No thanks, I'd rather buy a whopper and eat trans-fat laden french fries. Oh! Don't forget to biggy size it. It's not my fault I'm fat!"

the problem with really fat people is that they make the slightly overweight people think that they are skinny when it is clear that they are not.

NY has already banned all cooking that uses trans fats in their oils (or something along those lines). It's not far off that's for damn sure.
Looking at my small gut that's forming i'd say it's time for a diet change myself.

I'd love to see your psych profile. Do you have issues with anger, sadness, etc.. Whatever your own problems are, abusing booze, pills, etc.. You have a problem non visable by something like overreating.
So you are in fact a fucking hypocrit, people who over eat are doing it for emotional issues. You probably drink too much but feel your superior since you dont have fat.
Your fat is your own stupidity at your superiority. You just can point at someone with obvious signs of their own problems, while you can hide your own.
You are fat, just not physically.

Come on... tens of THOUSANDS of years?!?! Nope... only about ten thousand years. Ever hear of the agricultural revolution? Like most revolutions, the long term returns sucked.
While these foods have sustained us and literally provided the energy needed to build civilization, they do not necessarily represent the healthiest form of sustenance for a human being. Nor do they represent the cheapest.
We evolved eating a much different diet, almost entirely devoid of grains. I would postulate one of the greatest and most disastrous experimental endeavors human kind has embraced would be adopting the highly starchy grain based diet. Not only did it push us into becoming enslaved by plants, forced to toil for crops, it wreaks havoc upon our bodies.
So... while you are hating fatties, add agriculture to the laundry list of things to hate on, as it ultimately bears some responsibility for this problem.
Normal dumb people just do what is culturally acceptable, this includes eating stuff that makes you fat. So be repulsed by the fatties if you must but reserve your hatred for THE MUTHA FUCKING WORLD!

First of all whole wheat pasta isn't good. Its glycemic index is quite high and any pasta you cook is a glycemic bomb of glucose.
Oh and cheap? Add to that box the cost of tomatoes, leek, onion, paprika beef, olive oil and the like that you need to prepare it properly.
Then compare it to a supermarket pizza at a buck fifty.
People often eat unhealthy for economic reasons.
If you are a single welfare mom with two kids, how are you going to feed them, and what food habits will they learn from this?
Its sooo easy to sit by and say that a box of pasta is so cheap.

People overeat because they have no self control, and are disgusting.
What the hell kind of logic makes someone think: "I'm depressed because I'm so fat.....I think I'll turn to food for comfort".
If this is actually the case, now I hate fate people because they are fat AND incredibly stupid.

The reason that people are fat is not because of the quality of food they eat. It's because of the amount of calories they eat. If you ingest 3,000 calories a day and then sit on your ass and only burn 1,800 calories then you are going to build up fat.

not because of the quality of food they eat. It's because of the amount of calories they eat.
Quality food has a lower caloric density than junkfood, and it is less readily digested.
Factory farm animals like cows are fed grain etc (which is fast food to their cellulose-based digestive system) to fatten them over a short time.
If fast food will do that to animals, it will do that to people, no matter how smart they may think they are. We just aren't meant to eat fries, pasta, pizza and the like, end of story.
Quality of food has everything to do with the obesity problem the western world is facing.
Fast food should be made a bit more expensive and the money that comes off that should be used to make healthy foods cheaper.
Much of the foodstuffs sold today are little more than a delayed-acting poison that appeals to your tastebuds but is hell on your body.

The fact that people cram trans-fat filled, sugar-filled, and preservative filled garbage into their mouths makes me sick. I laugh when I see McDonald's unveiling their latest "healthy foods". I'm sorry, but if you take a salad filled with old stale greens and then slather it with a 1,000 calorie mayo derived dressing then that isn't healthy. Or if you take pieces of chicken and inject them with God knows what and slather an unhealthy breading on them then that isn't healthy either.
It just makes me fucking sick that Americans put this shit into their bodies. Ever hear of fruits? Ever hear of vegetables? Ever hear of grains? Ever hear of lean meats? If people made it don't eait it.
God...fucking gluttonous pigs.
