Bruise blue? Can the pins be an orange-ish color? Maybe almost purple?
Some look like they're brown orange kinda. I gave them more water and i'm going to picks when they're mature.
Any post info before I wait for full sized fruis?

Luteofolius is a sort of veilvet purple-red at young states. Growing gymns too huh?
What'd you do for your grow? I put wet cardboard around my mycelium and then added a top layer of wood chips and watered it. I've een having a problem with snails though so I had to add snail bait.

it occurred to me that I had somewhere around 20 logs that fruit about every couple weeks already,so growing is kind of pointless around the premises.and to be honest I'm kind of sick of them this year so I'm just letting them grow.
been thinking more and more about deer season.

heres a pic of mine of gymnopilus luteofolius to show how they can be purple pins, but a few other gymnos have purple on them also. they are all hard to tell apart.
the mycelium can definitely turn blue or maybe even green. same with the mushroom itself.
a certain "raindrop" blotching of the cap is also quite common in mature mushrooms, even in the PNW specimens i have found

couple pics of mine to show what i mean
makes it easy to identify most active gymns in maturity.
