mycellium some times bruises when it is shook in the jar. I have never gave my jars recovery time when I spawn.

Thanks...
I am hoping it is bruising. I carried a jar around the house with me banging it against my palm for about ten minutes while I found a bike tire. Afterwards I banged it against the tire to brake it up.
I then did two more jars. By the time I was done I looked at the first jar I was shaking and it looked greenish blue all over. I compared it to the other two and they were still white.
I took the first jar outside and as I was dumping it, it smelled like healthy myc so I started wondering if it wasnt just bruising, so I went and looked at the other two jars and sure enough they had turned blue as well. Some of the myc on the grains were superdark blue and others just a little. Seeing as how it was white after shaking and then blue a few moments later...would this likely be bruising?
Sorry camera is broke.

yea man, it's just bruising; no worries. Contams will not overtake myc quickly enough for you to see it happen like that; however, bruising will happen quickly enough for you to see. That happened to me my first grow when I crumbled my cakes. They were all turning a bluish color and I was like WTF! But after letting them recover over night (24 hrs or so) they were just fine and I went on to a successful fruit

How long can you leave them out of the incubator before they're still good we thought the blue was a contamination so we left them outside over night. They still look the same.
