As bulk substrate, manure + coffee grinds?

Just out of curiosity really. Any advantage/point/neatfact, about mixing in some coffee grinds to hpoo? I work at starbucks, so I have access to ass loads of it, so I thought, why not try and put it to use?
But, is there really any point, other than stretching out my manure supply? On a side note, since straw seems hard to come by for me, what's a good 'fluffer' for the manure, if Im making a monotub with about, 4-6 inches of sub?

Coir! Good fluffer.
Yeah add the coffee.

Coffee grounds increases nitrogen levels in the substrate. I can't even imagine using it to stretch out the manure supply. Coir is a great fluffer. Depending on how dense the hpoo, you might even want to put verm. In my opinion, vermiculite is the ultimate fluffer, but doesn't contribute in nutrients. So, you have to make the call...nutrient factor, or fluff factor.

Actually you can use coffee grounds as a substrate all by its self if you had to. If you already have plenty of Hpoo, only add it at about 10% of your substrate. If you are trying to stretch your poo, I would go with straw or coir. It will add nutrients and help create an awesome texture. Coffee will muddy things up a bit, so if you have to use a lot of coffee you should add verm. I use coffee from star bucks all the time. I love it.

I would go for straw, since it seems to be the best solution, but I can't seem to find any source for it where i live. someone mentioned craft stores but wouldnt that stuff be treated with chemicals and therefore unsuitable?
The coffee was just a random idea I had, I can get my hands on plenty of manure.
