Just another ID question

I was out hunting in Gulf Coast Florida last night and seen hundreds of these mushrooms here:
What type/species of mushroom do you think this is?
I'd post more details, but the picture is pretty damn good. The only thing about the mushroom you can't see in the picture is that the underside of the mushroom was also white, a little more vibrant of a white than the cap.

Damn, I can't believe with views in the 20's, that no one has been able to identify it, with as plentiful as this mushroom was in the field, it would seem to be a common species. Maybe I'm wrong though, anyone atleast have a link, where I might possibly be able to locate an ID?

well I doubt that you haven't gotten an ID because no-one knows what it is. More likely because you didn't follow the guidlines. Anyway, if you looked in any fieldguide (there's this place called the library that has all kinds of neat things called books) or did any reasearch at all you'd have seen that you have a japanese parasol aka coprinus plicatilis, and you're right, it is a common species all across North America.

When I was out in the field I also ran into two mushrooms like that, but they were in a funnel shape, with a orange and yellow stripe.
I'm going out hunting again tonight. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

It is Leucocoprinus, though, I'm not so sure about L. birnbaumii... Looks rather pale.

Okay okay, we'll call it that... I have seen photos of pale specimens such as this, just not with my own eyes.

Is it a poisonous, edible or hallucinagenic mushroom?

I found this mushroom right here during my hunt:

I also found a few nice cubies, but I ate those before I could take a picture. I may go back out again this morning though.

Ya know, I found some mushrooms that look a lot like this, a little between this Leucocoprinus and Parasola sp., the cap was almost transparent, and had a star shape (5 thin black stripes radiating from the centre of the cap) on them.
They seemed like a Coprinus sp. (how closely is Leucocoprinus related to the inky caps?), anyone have any idea? Couldnt get a spore print, but since they looked kinda like these, I thought I would chuck this in the wheels and see if something happens.

I'm going out again tonight, I wish I had a camera to take night pictures, because by the time I get my cubies back to the house, there brused to hell, and not even worthy of a pic.
