I start a new job in a week. I got a fresh bag of dank pot. I had a great night last night. Saw good music. Got a good night's sleep and more good music on the horizon tonight. Everything's coming up Milhouse!
How's yer weekend going??

Your mood thing says 'Crankey'. You should change it.
My weekend is alright. I am feeling very stressed because I keep fucking up using the online homework app. for my economics class. This is the second week in a row I've only done half the assigned problems and not realized till after it was graded. I hate how all my professors put so much of their course material online. What about all us computer illiterates??
But yeah, other than that I'm good. My mind is wandering a lot to the future, as I'm trying to finish up an application for studying abroad next year. Trying, though, to remain grounded in the present...

I saw Bonobo do a DJ set last night and tonight I'm seeing my roommates' band (who I love) play.

Sounds great.
I too am in a very nice mood. Didn't start out that way. Crawled out of bed with too little sleep, head spinning, whole alcohol, weed, sex, party deal that lasted half way through the night. Anxiety welling up in the form of memory and emotional flashes.
An ativan (not a daily thing) and some stirring about starting the day off has got me feeling pretty damned nice.
Sooner or later I have to grow up and quit living like this but damn, I'm only 37.
Happy day to all.

I finally came out of the hills to visit my place(and computer) in NJ. Been like 6 weeks since I've been on line. My wife usually comes up to visit on weekends, but this weekend was my turn to travel. Got to see Los Lobos for free at Belleayre this past Labor Day weekend. And a free pair of tix for Wynton Marsalis later this month, thanks to local radio station WKZE. Life is good...

Good for you
I've started an exercise regimen with such enthusiasm that pumping iron has every major muscle group in my body is hurting like hell. Whatever I do - IT HURTS! But its a good kind of pain as its a pain that leads to better health. I hope it has cleared enough monday to go at it again with the same spirit. I'm doing some simple ground exercises and movement now to aid the recovery.
I'm glad I'm finally getting in shape again. No pain no gain and that shit

So far so good! It's cool crisp n sunny. Good day after finishing off the night with a fight with one of the original buddies. Our ties are getting stretched further a part. Some rise and some fall. Some won't let go.

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Well you know the music venues we went to when you were here? Those were 2 out of the three this company owns. I'm going to be going to each club during the day and settling the money from the night before. Perfect job for a new york jew like me. I settle the money, advance the money to pay the bands that night, reset bartender banks, reset the box office bank...then a lot of random whatever-they-need-me-to-do that day stuff.
So I move around a lot which is cool, hitting up each venue throughout the day, making my own pace of it. I work some weekends too but that's fine by me.

That sounds like a sweet gig!
My weekend is going just fine so far. I woke up this morning, quit my second job, got yelled at by a former roommate for "making him" overdraw his checking account, got a $50 trader joes housewarming gift card, I'm downloadin' new tunes, I'm about to pay off my legal debt, buy those groceries, have a barbeque at my new place, get nice and drunk, and hang out with a cute & very intelligent filipino girl I met yesterday at a secret trash-picker-upper park walk.

Oh, and I might eat a bratwurst. God bless the weekend.

Indeed man.
It's a full time job, salary is 30K. Pretty much what I would be making if I worked my shit deskjob that I have now full time, but I don't work it full time, so all in all it is a raise. And I can still do my night shifts at the door at the clubs which is nice, a quick 60 dollar cash shift plus I like working at night at the shows. And I can do coat check in the winter if I want, which is a huge moneymaker, to rake in some extra dough.
