What are some unexpected songs from your past that you would love thear right now?  You know, th ones you used tol ove to listen to on your way to first period algebra.

Just listening to this song I can't help be be like, Christ I was a hedonist back in the nineties.  \

Champaign Supernova by Oasis.  To look back on it the songs kinda' lame, but in the nineties I loved it because it was soothing and spoke of "getting high".

Old school Marilyn Manson, From Smells Like Children till' the end of Antichrist Superstar.  I was in an angry anti-religious transitional period then, reeling from the pain of discovering how unfounded the christian religion is.  The hard, loud, angry music fit my mood perfectly.  These days I'm EXTREMELY toned down about the whole thing and have made my peace with christians in general.  Many of them are really good people.

Beck.  There is no way to describe how this mans songs paralleled my own feelings and perspective in those days.  Mellow Gold was the first CD I ever owned, and eventually played a small part in my exploration of hallucinogens.  To this day nothing flares my neurons like being on Cubes and listening to Mellow Gold or Odelay.

Thanx for the memories :smirk:

My favorites are weeping willows, which aren't really weeping at all. They're very wispy, witty and will dance in the breeze with you. Nothing like a tree that wants to dance with you. Although it doesn't like its thin limbs being pulled at all, it absolutely LOVES it when you walk through them, letting them gently slide over your face and shoulders. If you're naked, the willow considers it to be sex. It will orgasm on your mind and you will blow dream chunks into outer space. All very fun until your neighbor sees you.                                    -The Joekenorer
