1. Laetiporus sp. munched on by a slug at a young age, and attempted to repair itself?

2. I dunno.

3. Polyporus badius.

4. Leucoagaricus rubrotinctus.

5. Ganoderma sp..

6. Agaricus sp..

7. Pluteus aurantiorugosus.

#6 is agaricus placomyces , not edible...causes stomach upset in lots of ppl.

That is kinda what i thought, there were more growths along the same log so if they turn into something cool i might update it.

me neither... white spore print. I haven't even tried to figure it out yet. That picture isn't really very informative regarding the identifying features.

I think greysRDbest has it with A. placomyces, that is what I came up with anyway. The stems exhibited reddish brown staining, the base of the stipe was yellowish when cut, and possessed a very subtle almost non existent phenolic scent. They were by far the most prolific mushroom that day, despite the reports of being mildly poisonous I considered trying a small serving, but then i remembered what happened when i tried a small serving of mildly poisonous Ramaria a few years ago... Good times.
