Poor Man's Terrarium question

Okay, I should be getting my spores any day now, and just out of curiosity, has anyone that used the PMT with BRF cakes, had mushies growing up against the edge of the 2-liter? I was just wondering because I don't want to inhibit growth in any way.
PS, also for those who have used both the PMT and high-quality terrariums, how did you find their qualities compared? Would it be worth it to bump up a notch to glove box, or not?

a glove box is where you inoculate and do transfers and what not, in a sterile environment. Try and read more, within the next few days.

It's definitely worth your while to step up to a bigger FC. The 2 liter bottles work, but a pmp is so much better!

Hmm, I guess you're right. I've been doing as much reading as possible, but I guess I misunderstood glove boxes. Well uh, to edit the above question, how significant is the difference between PMT and medium quality terrariums?
Haha, maybe I shouldn't even be worrying about fruiting yet, since I'm about 4-5 weeks away since I don't even have my spores yet XD

basic tereriums made out of rubbermaids are quite efficient. i'd say watch the 4 part rr video pftek on youtube. that has a super simple and effective fc in it that will provide all the humidity and fea you need without much extra equipment. you can't get much simpler than 1 rubbermaid box with moist perlite in it and a bunch of holes.
