Will my cakes still fruit after this?
    #7409108 - 09/14/07 01:11 PM (16 years, 4 months ago)

My cakes haven't been fruiting and they have been in my terrarium for about a week and some change. Well I just put them in water for 24 hours to rehydrate them.

Will they still fruit? Or should I toss them?

what if my cakes get a little dry while in the terrarium? Is that normal? And I keep trying to get my humidity up but I can't. I have perlite in there. I can feel the humidity. It's at 85%. Is that high enough?

Thanks

No not for cake cakes. Maybe if you role them in wet Verm but really you want the RH to be 95-100. the wetter the better.

Most digital humidity gauges go only to 85% incase that applies to you.
