A few questions on lc

Hey everyone I need a little help with some novice questions regarding liquid cultures, I've been searching different teks on here for a few days and seemed to be a little confused. I know mycelia needs air exchange to grow and was wondering the best way to provide this for a lc. I've seen several teks where a half pint is used (also what i have in stock)and one hole is simply put in the lid, in most teks it is filled with sealant ,my question is how is the mycelia getting its fresh air, i have read where people place one hole in the lid and fill it with sealant(for inoculation) and another hole covered on both sides with tyvek for fresh air exchange , is this a good idea? or would it leave the lc prone to contamination? Another problem Ive seen is the vacuum that is created when pc'ed. i know if it was safe to implement the tyvek covered hole then there wouldn't be a vacuum formed, however if i just had one hole for inoculation how could i stabilize the pressure so no contaminated air is sucked into the jar from the vacuum, id like to thank everyone in advance for help with my knowingly elementary questions. peace

 That is what you'll get.
The trick is to let cool down the jars INSIDE the PC for 24 hours. If one removes the lid of the PC too soon, it is not good.
Don't use Tyvek, Polyfill or tape because it is not necessary. Rather work FAST and efficient, and don't fumble around too much. One should keep a few old syringes ready - and together with the jars, one puts the emty syringes - wrapped in Alu-foil - into the PC. For more information on that matter, please click yourself to ShroomCity and watch the PF-Tek part 2 video. (Link below)
Good growin'

Yeah, while you're at just dip your dogs tail into the spores and then the lc. This will ensure a sterile lc just like Radel's teks.
No actually the RTV plug works well for an inoculation point that will seal itself and not allow contams. I don't think lc's need very much FAE. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

yea that first response didnt sound very professional i hope that isnt the tek used to enrich uranium in switzerland anyway i figure its worth trying some rtv sealant but wont worry about FAE ight now and see how that goes i seen alot of baby bottle teks that have no FAE and they seem to work fine, course thats not from experience ,
