HELP casing to wet!!!!
    #740775 - 07/12/02 06:38 AM (14 years, 4 months ago)

yuppers i did the old rookie mistake with my casing. i had just cased a 40 gallon rubermaid bin with hores poo and it is to wet way to wet. i pinched a bit of the casing and could squeez a drop from just a finger pinch full. i was thinking of setting up a little damp rid unit in the tub but there is no damp rid to be found any where. any ideas. i just cased it last night and do not wat to lose the casing

Well your in a bind. I would just try to get through it. Keep it very sterile and hope the mycelium network will use up alot of moisture. Any damp rid attempts will only dry out the surface and this would be bad. The heavy moisture content is present all the way through and your just going to have to ride it out. Once again, any drying attempts are just going to dry out the surface area on top of the casing so I would avoid any procedure of that nature. Good luck.
