Ive been using damp rid( under a screen) as a desiccant in the bottom of a small fish aquarium, in about three days the flaky shit was gone and it was all liquid i noticed one of my shrooms was laying in that liquid, not really thinking about it I picked it up and put it with the rest again now i don't know which one it was am i going to get really sick if I eat that one?

that could be bad ... well i do know this .. I can add up to a teaspoon of calcium chloride to a 5 gallon batch of beer as part of the normal water building for a particular style of beer.. you might try making an elixir with some distilled vodka. since calcium chloride (damp rid) is not soluble in alcohol .. at least I think its not soluble in pure alcohol .. if you were to eat it I don't think it will kill you but it may make you sick . you might try powderizing all your shrooms and mix to dilute the chloride with the other shrooms

The very 1st batch of mushrooms I ever grew came into direct contact with damp rid,it did not do anything harmful aside from make them taste terrible(Yes even worse than they are supposed to) sorta like a cross between some strange chemical and dumping a salt shaker on your tongue, aside from the taste no harm done
