horse poo, wheat straw, or both?
    #7406417 - 09/13/07 09:14 PM (16 years, 4 months ago)

i have about 100lbs. of aged horse dung and a big bail of wheat straw. i've read tons of posts, grow logs, teks. i find many teks and logs for either or. but what about mixing them together before spawning? should i pasteurize together or seperate. should i use just one or the other? i was going to use a trash can with 160-170degree hot water for an hour for pasteurization. and whats the spawn to straw/poo ratio? i'm using quart jars of wbs. thanx

Shred the wheat straw, shred the poo, mix, pasteurize for 1 hour between 160-170F

You could use the search function and find a lot of these answers.
