The Untied States of America

Thread title spelled wrong on purpose.
I think that the United States, although a good idea in theory, is destined to failure, and I think shit is going to start getting real nuts here soon. I think this because democracy can not be run by profit seeking politicians whose motivation comes from the wallets of special interest parties. I do believe in free market capitalism and anarchy, and am currently looking for someplace to call home based on this system.
In the mean time, Kurtz's couch is my back up plan whilst I weather the storm.

Jesus christ. Don't you people understand that EVERY nation is destined for failure. Everyone has always thought its been the end of days and that shits going to fall apart. All through out history. Today is no different. In closing, america is going to keep on keepin' on.

Meh - I agree with the OP. But I'm not worried about it really.
I can and have lived off the grid sans-modern-convinces. I'd do it again.
Plus I don't think 'order' will collapse overnight there'll be enough warning if/when things start to circle the drain a little faster to bug out if need be.
The population for the most part are brainwashed pussys. 'Nothing to fear but fear itself' and it's damn true. It's fear, manufactured and implanted irrational fear, that's got us into this trouble in the first place.
Of course things might get better too. You never know, Ron Paul, could win.
Only the future can tell itself.

I do not hate government, I think select laws and procedures are dumb, but I think without a government (the thing that provides us the security of knowing that a dictator won't come in here and tell us all our money goes to him) physical power would rule the streets and we would quickly be taken over.
Government is essential to life, everything has a form of government. There are leaders in wildlife and every part of the world. I do not believe anarchy is the solution, in fact I think if we went into anarchy our demise would shortly follow.

I don't mean government as in the president and all the government officials, I mean governing in general as in a system of rules that nature and everything in it follows. our brain is like the president of our body and it governs the rest of our cells, organs, and everything else you have in your body. They obey it's laws, so in a sense our bodies have a set of rules and a central government.
I did not mean that the U.S. government is essential to life, oh god no.
However, government is essential in any country, IMHO.
