The whole mushroom cultivation/pychedelic thing is sooo under the radar right now. You can legally buy spores in 47 of out 50 states. but how long will it last? It does worry me thinking about it, somewhat. I'm in school, pretty much broke and dont have the resources to grow my own and it just worries me. I get out of school in 5 months or so, and when I do, I'm going to get to work, get my own place so I can grow.

I just hope something crazy doesn't happen and all of a sudden they crack down on the spore suppliers.

It's just a doubt that gnaws at me and drives me nuts, but Im still pretty confident that the mushroom people will still be under the radar for quite awhile..

I mean, the big thing right now for the DEA/Police is weed. There are a number of factors with weed growing that can get you caught. High electricity, lots of equipment you need, odor, etc. Police fund their ridiculous little War with the money they seize!

But with mushrooms... theres no strong odors, no high electricity, etc.

Im just rambling here, someone just give me some relief and agree with me that mushrooms will remain under the radar for quite some time:grin:

Dude, mushrooms will remain under the radar for quite some time. That's just my thought though.

It seems to be the characteristic of mushrooms to be "under the radar." They're secretive and mysterious; just think of how many mushrooms go unnoticed as you take a walk through the woods, yet they're everywhere.

Just like the mushrooms themselves, the people involved with them usually are well hidden, but right in front of your eyes. As you said: no smells, no high electricity use. If you've ever grown them, you will know how little effort it involves. The simplest setup will work better than you may think.

Even if spores became illegal, what are they going to do about all the wild mushrooms? You can't go around eradicating mushrooms colonies the way the feds have been going around eradicating "ditch weed." The mushrooms appear for a moment, then they shrivel away, and the colony lives on, hidden underground. Find yourself a cubensis in a cattle pasture and take it's print; now you have all the spores you will ever need.

good point. Also, if they did make Spores illegal, I bet you someone in Holland would just start a print business and figure out a way to ship them to the U.S. just like cannabis seeds
