Whats the simplest way to produce a liquid culture for using Karo/water or Honey/water?
I always have trouble measuring out the honey or karo and having it stick to the spoon causing the ratio inside of the water to be off.

High Quality Liquid Culture
If your honey or karo is sticking to the spoon you probably are trying to mix it in with cold water which is a bad idea. If your honey, karo, whatever is sticking, make sure everything is warm. I don't know if you've ever noticed but warm honey is more runny.

Well its just that. You can use bottled juice and make LC out of it. Blood4blood and I are currently trying are hand at it now. Juice comes from the store pre-pasteurized so you don't have to sterilize it. What i did was get a bottle of apple just, put that, and extra cup, the syringe full of spores, a spare needle, some silicone and and alcohol lamp in my glove box that i lysol'ed all to hell. Then i took flamed the spare needle until it was glowing and pushed through the top of the bottle. Then squirted a cup full of juice out of the bottle. Then i took the syringe flamed that, waited for it to cool then injected a few cc's into the juice bottle. Then applied some silicone to the hole and thew it in the incubator.
