Stick the fan on the end of a small PVC or ABS pipe(corresponding diameter...) then using silicone, just glue the other end of the pipe straight on the glass, covering the biggest of the two holes, or covering both if they are side by side.
Otherwise, I don't see how you could proceed WITHOUT cutting or drilling the glass.

you go to your local target/walmart/kmart and buy a rubbermaid container. when you get home grab your glass aquarium and throw it out the window.

Rubbermaid is pretty easy to work with, but whoever is right, you'll be the one figuring it out, so best of luck to you!
Adhesive? Maybe Silicone, industrial glue, some epoxy if there is one for both glass and plastic.

Silicone may be a better bet than epoxy,Ive found epoxy a pain when it comes to plastic

if you want to use your aquarium then you'll probably need to step the pvc down to the size of the whole so you can put it through. I can't imagine it being very stable mounted on just the outside. really though you might want to rethink using an aquarium . if you don't mind me asking why do you want to use an aquarium instead of a rubbermaid tub?

have you considered the bennifits of a rubbermaid? its easily modifiable(can drill new holes), costs less than 20 bucks, wont break if it gets dropped, its light weight so is you can move it around easily.
so what kind of grow are you planning to do in your aquarium? how big is it?

Why not get a glass cutter and put a hole in it towards the bottom lol? then put your fan in there with some silicone?

no dont ruin ur tank. its at least a 20 gallon aint it? if not get a dang platic container u can get a much bigger fruiting chamber for under 20 bucks.
I've seen one grower put his fan inside and hung it in his tub for air circulation in his tub. That would definitely help and probably keep trich away.
