no, that would dilute it way too much. I wouldn't want to dilute a PF syringe any more than it already is(not that they're weak or anything, they're fine). It probably wouldn't germinate at all if you did that. not enough spore concentration.

But link, I thought there were thousands, if not millions of spores in a syringe. My buddy is convinced it will work, but if you guys say absolutely no way then I won't waste the syringe.

If the syringe it's very clouded you can try to dilute but......not in a liter...try 1/4 or 1/2 pint jars...

Grow em and print plenty.
No way knowing what may go wrong with sterility.

More germination sites=faster colonization= better chances of success.

we usually take rests of syringes and dilute them in 1/4 jars with water and a little maltextract....when the spores germinate in that water and u shake the solution every day you can watch clouds of mycelium developing....this liquid culture u can use after a while to make new syringes...very fat colonisation!!!
