So after my first jars getting some contam and having only one syringe I put some of the remaining spores into a apple bottle nothing special put in the microwave for 20-30 seconds before inoculating because it was very cold. I heated up a nail and push a hole through the top and then knocked em up and put some micro tape over the top and have just been letting it sit in my closet. This was over the span of 2 weeks however so pretty slow. the temps where no where near perfection however id say 60-75
I'm excited though! gonna knock up some jars soon.
one question how long can I let finished jars that aren't knocked up sit?

the majority of the white is up at the top of the jar but if I shake it a little like I did for the picture you can see it float around theres quite a bit.
TC strain if you wondering lol

i can't see any white stuff but i don't know why anyone would waste time boiling potatoes and working all those karo ingredients together when snapple works just as good, so if i were to suck 10 cc's up and inoculate 10 jars, would the colonazation take as long as with spores?

In my experience, when it floats in LC, it's usually contamination.
Mycelium usually tends to sink to the bottom of the container.
I guess this could depend on the density of your liquid nutrient solution, but it's been the case for me just about every time.
Either way, good luck.

If i remember correctly after the mycelium had colonized about 50-75% in the jar you can take it and put it in the refrigerator which will then keep for 2-3 months. But LC is always best used fresh. So if anything just use what you need of the LC when its done then knock up another bottle and leave that to colonize so you alway have some LC on hand. I mean the bottles your using are pretty small so its not like your throwing away gallons of it. But thats just me.
