Myc question?

Ive been sitting here searching about this and cant find my answer...
Now dont take this as im worried my jars arent colonizing right, because im pretty sure they are. I have some jars that are spreading fast and the myc looks very thin, thin enough i can see substrate through it, and i have other jars that have very thick myc. and are spreading only a tiny bit slower than the others.
Is this normal?
My thinking is that once it appears to me that the jar is colonized that it will thicken.... i know to let it colonize 3 more days after it appears to be done, to let the middle of the jar colonize as well.
Right now my guess would be that my jars are about 40-50 percent colonized, as they appear on the outside, i know the insides take a little longer
The thin, fast spreading myc looks rather r-matic as well, thats why im a little confused.

very common with multi-spore inoculations...
you can get a variety of different types of growth from jar to jar.
when you start working with a good isolate you won't have this problem.

So, even with this being common, will it thicken up after the jar is mostly colonized, and if it doesn't will they fruit ok, and or colonize spawn decently?

some will and some won't thicken up...
but they will fully colonize the jars ok.
but there will be no guarantee on the fruiting quality...
thats a roll of the dice when working with multi-spore inoculations.
