I saw the videos a few months ago and it looks very promising but I bet it gets put down. That and the guy is more interested in curing cancer or Parkinson's or whatever his wife has.

i think its incredible really, using oceans as fuel. its everywhere. pretty crazy for the hydrogen react with the radiowaves. I gotta do some more research later on this.

As far as I remember ANY salt water would do so you could make your own if you were so inclined. Im sure theres an optimal H20 to NaCl ratio though.

wont happen. the amount of energy needed to power the resonant frequency would far outpace the power from the release of hydrogen

this would be revolutionary if the radio frequency source consumed less energy than that produced by burning the resulting hydrogen. i really, really doubt that is happening though. it would sorta violate the laws of physics, at least as i understand them.

You don't have to be over unity for it to work and be revolutionary. If it is super efficient compared to electrolysis, then the cost of hydrogen fueled "whatever" would go down tremendously. Of course, we have no idea of the efficiency... could be worse than electrolysis for all we know.

what is the tech? the link doesn't work. Is it some way of producing h2 and 02 from water?

is has something to do with radio waves(or something) burning salt water.
with global warming, and pollution, i really dont understand why our leaders aren't putting more thought into this.

Because it doesn't work. You have to put as much energy into releasing hydrogen as you get back by burning it.

There's a stoiciometric limit on how efficient the process can be made. Hydrogen used this way is an energy storage system, like a very efficient battery, but it cannot produce energy.
To produce energy using hydrogen takes giant football stadium sized petawatt lasers, not some garage junk.
Humans are working on the problem, but it's a very hard problem.

In geologic time, humans are just a bad rash on the Earth that will heal after we're gone.
