Outdoor grow with pictures and questions

These are two female bag seed plants both 2 meters tall they both have begun flowering. One shows more of indica traits and smells of fruity bubblegum. She is the fastest budding of the two and the farthest along. She already has started to gain trichomes on the bud leaves a week ago.

The more sativa plant smells of strong lemon/pine and has just started trichomes on the leaves yesterday.

Also I've been pruning some fan leaves that are blocking light to bud sites will this stunt the growth any and is this even necessary?
How long until you think the plants are going to be done at 45 longitude?

I don't prune more than a few leaves if even that. IME(rather limited I must admit) it causes more harm than gain.

As you don't know the strain that will be really difficult to say.

Nice plants though. I'm sure they'll produce a fair amount of good smoke. Looks really healthy.

Thank you . I'm hoping to find my actual camera to take some clear pictures soon, so far I have to use my phone.

for the flowering times you can at least use the basic timelines given for both types.
Indicas take from 7-10 weeks to finish
sativas take from 10-12 weeks to finish
However, if i were you, id just pay attention to trichrome maturation and pistil maturation. Your plant will tell you when she's ready for her final haircut, just pay attention to the signs and you'll reap a good harvest.
Nice plants btw, i really like the indica, looks like you're gonna have a helluva nice cola to smoke on once she's done.

Looks nice.
only thing ill suggest is that instead of removing fan leaves to allow more light into certain areas, try first to bend them out of the way. Tucking them behind a branch or behind another leaf works well IME and doesn't add any unnecessary stress to the plant.
fan leaves are the solar panels for the plant. less solar panels = less energy to grow those buds your after.

It can. Outdoors think of leaves as solar panals and things don't work as well when you tear the solar panals off.

Some of the different growth patterns of different strains can be seen.
