shrooms tend to grow towards light, if ur fruiting chamber is clear, u could try covering the sides so that only light is coming from the top.
Dont think its much of a big issue though.

or you could put a light dirrectly above your fc. I wouldn't recommend covering the sides if you have a fc designed to allow for fae through the sides

Since some mushrooms are phototropic, they do not require light to live, but they use it as a fruiting trigger, and also they grow towards the light, since they understand that following light generally means you are growing up. Unfortunately, we confuse them with our lighting situations. To get mushrooms to grow straight, you need dark colored tubs, with clear lids, with lights on the top. If you use perlite, it will reflect light and they will think there is light coming from the ground.

well they are somewhat growing downward i guess cause of the reflection of the light on the perlite, and they are in a dark basement and the only light that hits them comes from an angle so i dont think they are getting to much guidance on which way to go, would giving them alot of direct light for like a hour a day get them growin in a better direction?(light a 23watt cfl right on top of the lid) i dont really want to bring to much attention to them though casue my roomy doesnt like me doing mushies, would a hour or so be enough?
