does anyone else have any ideas or advice? the oven tek was used during innoculation and much of ryche's sterilization tek was followed as well. if growth has not been noticed for at least 5 days or more is this a hopeless case? please help. thank you.

Where did you get the print from? Thats along time with no growth. I say scrap'em. Try again. Good Luck!!

Sounds like you scraped the spores off the print into your jar.

In that case they germinated at the top and will slowly move downward. The problem I have had with this method is that the air exchange is blocked by the topheavy mycelium growth. Make sure that you have some sort of holes in your jar so that air can be exchanged and hope that contams don't set in before colonization.

If I am right with my assumptions then youre probably ok, however it could take upto maybe even over a month for total colonization.

Smell it and if smell of !BLEAAACHHH! then
start a new batch.

Otherwise,
