i have just come back from my first solo shroom hunting and it was an experince but i have a question im almost positive the shrooms i have collected are cubies i live south east coast of florida and retrived them from a cow feild. but my curosity lies in wheather or not they are still ok to ingest. the stems are very dry/weak and are fraying? and the top where the goldish brown is, is pealing off do these first of all sound like PSILOCYBE CUBENSIS? and are they still ok to eat? im sorry if these questions have been asked b4 i did use search :P and i didnt have any direct answers which i would greatly appreciate. thank you

You're in the wrong forum. You need to go to the "Mushroom Hunting" forum. Once there, read the first sticky post for proper id request rules. If you don't, people here will hound you until you just don't care anymore. Do it the right way, follow the proper channels. There are people here with insurmountable mushroom experience and knowledge. I'm positive if you follow the mushroom hunting forums rules, you will learn what you wish to learn.
-------------------- My favorites are weeping willows, which aren't really weeping at all. They're very wispy, witty and will dance in the breeze with you. Nothing like a tree that wants to dance with you. Although it doesn't like its thin limbs being pulled at all, it absolutely LOVES it when you walk through them, letting them gently slide over your face and shoulders. If you're naked, the willow considers it to be sex. It will orgasm on your mind and you will blow dream chunks into outer space. All very fun until your neighbor sees you. -The Joekenorer

Well actually, we'll hound you until you DO care, or you get banned, or you get fed up and leave... that seems to be the division of reactions to the rules. Luckily, this leaves us with a group of very good hunters, who are very helpful to those who respect the forum rules.

You put me in my place, curecat. I should learn to be a little more optimistic.
