Keeping them in 60 deg temps will seriously halt growth... I learned that the hard way.. I believe the optimum temp is 86 deg but you can have it like mid seventies or so for average growth rate..... be careful with your light bulb heater it may dry your jars out.... Look for Shroomgod incubator tec and try that... You would have to buy a submersable fish tank heater and a plastic box but that shouldnt cost more than 30$ - 40$ and thats not bad cansidering the trouble it'll save you... do a search or maybe someone can post a link for you but I reccomend that. You dont have to keep your jars in 100% darkness but if you are going to case them , then you wouldnt want pins to form on your jars after they colonize so in that case you may want darkness but if you are just going to birth your cakes (i.e. take them out of the jars and stick them right into the aquarium) then you dont need to worry about darkness.... I would avoid keeping them in the cold if I were you... I have heard of cold shocking techniques but I dont know how well that works, but many people dont do that and everything ususally goes well. Somebody post a link to Shroomgods incubator tek for this guy!

Hey Old Guy, easy way to do it is innoculate your jars, put 'em back in the box from wence they came and wrap the box in a towel then set the wrapped box on a heating pad. Don't get 'em too hot, turn 'm every once and a while and open the box and check the jars by hand WARM is good. If you put a thermomiter in there 80-85f is the best. It dosen't have to be constant. 100f will kill 'em though. (Cold just slows 'em down.) They don't need light or air at this time. When their fully colonized, Birth 'em and set 'em on the lids on perlite in the aquarium. 11 jars are going to be kind of crowded in a 10 gal. aquarium. Perlite's great. Go with the flow, read the boards, the mushies will teach you. Good luck!

Hey old guy,
Your puting strain and your strain(pun intended..lol), by dropping the temp. like this. You want the best temp. possible at all times (84-87F). No need to run your heating sorce on a timer. Try not to let the temp. drop anymore then 1-2 degrees. Always best to keep, at the same temp. all the time. Light wont hurt your jars right now (not while their doing their thing), but when they have reached 100% col. then you want to start to pin them. All you have to do is lower the temp. and humidi. level. And give them 12/12 of lighting. This simulates the coming of the fall season. Good luck!!
