If you inoculated four days ago with spores, you 'might' be able to just begin seeing the first signs of growth. Since your jars are nearly colonized, it is very likely to be mold. RR

I don't think you could accomplish that unless you had some crazy lc. Since you're a first time grower I assume you didnt make one. Definitely throw that thing away.
HEED THIS WARNING: Pressure cook that jar before you open it up to toss the grains so you don't throw mold spores all over your house. It's a common mistake many of us make while first starting out. Even better though, just throw away the whole jar.

thats a shame, but expected for a first grow. I started with pf tek using brf and verm as i dont have a pressure cooker yet.
Maybe u should try the pf-tek first (if u got pressure cooker, which i assume u have as u used grain, us it for verm and brf too)
Alot les chance of contamination, yeilds arnt as much with grains but success is a bit higher.
Make sure u soak ur grain overnight to germinate all the nasties so they can be easily killed in the pressure cooking stage.
Use a glove box that has been sterilised for inoculating, flame needle red hot, then alcohole wipe to cool before inocing each jar.
Where did u get ur syringe from?? was it a sponsor.
if all ur jars went like this, then either
syringe maybe contaminated grains not sterilised properly inoculations not sterile enough.
good luck with ur next attempt. It wll come with practice.
if u really want to keep the jars, then just pressure cook them for 2 hours, then open the jars into a bag outside and seal bag shut. through away.
then disinfect the jars, preferable outside to just be doubley sure.
If ur jars are readily and cheaply availible then throuwing them away is fine. Though i would still pressure cook before through away. Just dont like the idea of infecting a bin area or something with nasty moulds n bacteria. Bins smell bad enough as it is

I would also recommend you try again with PF tek cakes. Grains are usually what people try after getting the Tek down because they're much harder to work with in regards to contams, which is what you experienced.
Patience is a big deal in this game, so it's worth it for the exercise in patience alone.

I really don't think that's "expected" for a first grow. Some people may have issues with contams but the majority don't have anything remotely that bad on their first try even if they are using grains.
If you follow the teks exactly, that's not to be "expected".

I did soak and simmer the grain. I guess the grain has some fungicides or something like that, cause i got them a year ago from some farmer. Almost directly from the field, not cleaned
Syringes are ok, i'm sure of that. So it's either the grain or inoculation wasn't sterile. I don't have a box for that. And the worst part is that there are absolutely no antibacterial aerosols to buy where i live :/
oh well, next time i'll try harder. Thanx anyway
