WBS soak time?

when on the step of soaking the WBS, 12-24hrs is what the TEK says..... is 12 hrs enough, is 24 too long? is 48hrs too long? just tryin to get it right!! thanks and happy shrooming

Oh, all those are good. Depends on your style. Do some to 12, some 24 and see what you like.
I've started doing a no-soak version, works great for me.

I let some soak for 2.5days and it smelled pretty bad... nonetheless, I just got done pressure cooking them and it looks okay....how do you know when its too late?

I soak 36 hrs,Ive never had a problem with germination except for when the expanded so much that they absorbed all the water and the ones above the water line in the bucked and a few of them sprouted

yeah I wasnt planning on soaking it for that long, just 12 but couldnt get to it in time heh.... none of them sprouted.... just smelled quite bad.... we'll see

you know, being a botanist maybe ill try to grow this rye shit, i have no clue what you guys are talking about rye never sprouted for me, i wish it did so i can grow and harvest the berries for free, HOME GROWN doesnt get better than that
