First off you got all these brainwashed bible believers...
Then you got the free thinkers...
And so on...
All be pushed and pulled by ideas, our goverments, people trying to control, people trying to destroy, people trying to love...
Now think of all this alien BS! as just some more bs that they, the pushers and pullers, are trying to use to confuse and cloud our minds. Keeping us occupied with stuff that isnt even real in this world so they can keep control of it all.
Just think about it you've got goverment officials now revealing alien information.
Come on! Are you too going to be brainwashed just like so many others?
Another thing i think is that they are using this to not only brainwash us but to keep us apart. To keep us seperated. Because we all know, I hope, that if we all just came together to have a free mind, that we'd easily over power the dominators.

If you truely thought outside the box you would not automatically dismiss aliens as "BS", but rather entertain the possibility of their existence. You are falling into the same dogmatic, peremptory mode of thinking by "believing" they are not real.
I do not believe nor disbelieve in aliens, and this will continue until I am soberly, consciously introduced to one. I do think it is very plausible, though...

If we look at our religious beliefs, for example, on which we base much of our behavior, ideals and moral codes, we find that it was handed to us intact by our religious culture. None of us could seriously think that had we been born into a different religious culture we would nevertheless believe as we do now. Even when we swap our religious beliefs, don't we do so because of the influence of other people or other existing cultures? It is the same with all of our ideals, religious or otherwise. They have been created in us by society. Where now is our separateness, our uniqueness? At most we are alll the same being with individual inclinations. -

You are saying that people who believe in things that you don't are "blinded", that is an opinion. I do not think you are blinded either but I will say this...I am only as blinded by "mysticism" as you are by "skepticism"...Opinions are not right or wrong (and this goes for what I am saying right now). However, here is a fact...History is littered with examples of: when people believe their ideas to be facts and anyone who doesn't see it their way is "blind", this causes troubles.
If you want your opinions respected/listened to...then respect others opinions. Anyways, just my thoughts friend.

IMO, the only opinion that is wrong is when people believe their opinions to be fact and then force it on others.
Some opinions are easy to debunk...but as always their is a grey area.
I say people can believe whatever they want to believe, as long as it doesn't go so far as to infringe on others beliefs (like the Nazi, the "retard" haters, the "drugs-are-the-root-of-the-problem" people, the Homophobes, etc).
IMO, every opinion should be allowed to exsist as long as it hurts no one...and what does the belief in aliens hurt?

I was trying to get people not to discuss our opinions or any beliefs.. but about all this junk information being spread over the internet. This is the information age and there is alot of bs out there.
In anyway was i saying that i do or do not believe in aliens.
Websites like zetatalk.com and stuff about the greys and reptillian races... Personally i think its all made up, just like the bible. See my bible alien connection?
Today i was told that i was closed minded because i said that the bible is fiction.
I also tried to explain logic to this fellow but nothing but a no response to all my ideas. I guess i can throw that approach at trying to turn people who believe the bible as writing by god. Oh well!
Did i clear up anything?

Yes, but the idea that this or that is bs is an opinion. So opinions are exactly what you are talking about friend.

IMO, yes their is a lot of "counter information" if you will being put out their to clog a clear perception...however what the info is that is "crap" and what the info is that is "real" or "reputabe" is a matter of debate.

I have not seen you post any deep thought here yet........i feel i have....
I may only be 19, but how about you try dealing with a pontentialy terminal illness, such as cancer and see how that can change your thoughts on life. I may be young but i have a value for this life that you probably do not have, dealing with cancer is the biggest trip i have ever had.......
