My friend, very meticulous guy
has 3.5 mm roor < 1 year
stem piece looks like its been hacksawed from other stem piece hitting it between tokes.
My friend is a VERY METICULOUS guy.
He now has a PHX. (which he is still very meticulously careful with)

You may be right... Stizzle, where did you get yours? Online or at a head shop? Also how hard would you say the 5.0 is to break? Will it stand up to being dropped on hard floor?

Oh nevermind, I get what you're saying. You're saying that 3.5 will chip easily right? Hmm... you're probably right, but I really am not sure if throwing another 100 bucks into the bong investment is fiscally wise. I want to have enough money for day to day life in college, and my bank account isn't all that well stocked.

You do know that those prices on everyonedoesit are also in english pounds? You might want to check the exchange rate before you buy.
I can't say anything glass won't break if you drop it on a hard floor.

Seems like a sound plan to me. Alright, you guys convinced me and I'll go for the gold. Time to start browsing the higher end ones and wincing at prices

If that one was in stock, it would be the one!
I like the Erlenmeyer flask looking ones better than the graduated cylinder looking ones, because they have more volume for water. You don't want the water to taste like shit after two hits. Also the extra volume accommodates melting ice cubes well.

here is my view on the roor...my buddy has the king roor, i dunno what makes it special but it is.. you can buy one without the name on it that hits basically the same BUT the roor has that little extra zing, it hits and clears a lot smoother. If u have the money buy a roor if not go generic

I've smoked out of a roor before, and IMO there seems to be a PSEUDO direct correlation between brand names/price and "hitting efficiency". I don't need to spend more than the price of fucking weed to get high. If I really wanted to splurge, I could buy a very nice glass bubbler for 50 bucks and call it a day.
I'm one to talk. My glass collection adds up to over a thousand bucks, all presents from my girlfriend. Still, my mind is made up. When someone tells me they got so ripped off of hitting a roor or PHX I just laugh and tell them I get just as high, just as comfortably, hitting my 50 dollar bubbler and not having to go through all the trouble of breaking out my expensive ass bong, filling it, loading it with ice, worrying about it breaking, and then cleaning the huge fucker when it gets dirty. Hell, to be perfectly honest with you I prefer my 6 dollar one hitter crack pipe to any of my other pieces because it is way more efficient, way less noticeable, and a shit load cheaper.
Not that I wouldn't give you mad props for having a roor, I'd just rather smoke out of yours and not deal with it than go through any of that if you know what I mean.
Just my two cents.

This one is the one for me. Cheap, (compared to a RooR of similar size and thickness), and 7.0 should be solid as a rock. But then there's also this. I like the shape of this one better, and I think the inverted joint will make it harder to break small pieces. Both are nicely more affordable then RooR's
