I grew it but it is useless for me to try it because I am LSA immune. I have tried morning glories and HBWR a bunch of times but nope I didn't feel shit.

Salvinorin and Teo ... I am talking the real deal Hawiian Baby woodrose with the fuzzy coating. I know all about the Ghana seeds. I even tried Rivea Corymbosa and that didn't work. I think if the LSA was mixed with mint it may do it cause it will change it's chemical structure somehow into something closer to LSD. Sandman.. Yep the LSA is a byproduct of the fungus. It is carried over through the seed and lives in a symbiotic relationship with the grass.

What ingestion method is used with sleepy grass?
And if you were to order online, will the grass contain this fungus that has created the LSA?

Indiana University biologist Keith Clay has studied sleepy grass and found it to be infected with an unusual endophyte, a fungus that lives inside plant leaves. Alkaloids produced by the fungus are the knockout culprits (caffeine, nicotine, cocaine and morphine are other plant- produced alkaloids).
Clay found that the dominant alkaloid in sleepy grass is lysergic acid
I cant find anything on human ingestion.

Achnatherum robustum, commonly known as Sleepy grass, (synonyms Stipa robusta, also Stipa vaseyi subsp. robusta) is a perennial plant in the Poaceae or Grass Family.
It grows on dry soil in the U.S. Midwest, ranging from South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas, Wyoming, Colorado and New Mexico to Texas and Arizona.
Its diacetone alcohol ingredient has a mildly toxic effect on cattle and livestock, causing drowsiness.
Diacetone alcohol is a chemical compound with the formula CH3C(O)CH2C(OH)(CH3)2. This liquid is common synthetic intermediate used for the preparation of other compounds.
It is a natural ingredient of Sleepy grass (Achnatherum robustum).
All I could find, sorry

cpw, it doesn't contain all those chemicals. The wording of your source was strange, what it meant was that the plant contains LSA, and then it gave examples of other chemicals that are produced by different plants. I see no harm in ingesting it, the worst that can happen is... nothing. If it was poisonous we would have heard about some teenagers dying from it. I'm really interested in how this works out...

That's really weird... There's no information on Sleepy grass ANYWHERE, and I wish we knew more about it. Maybe you could send some to anyone willing to try it?

I think all of you are making the situation seem more dangerous than it really is... I mean, cows eat shitloads of the stuff, and they just get tired. He's not going to die, because it's not a dangerous plant. He's merely researching this plant for the good of the community. I would have expected more support than this...

Seriously why are so many people jumping on Teo's back? So far as I can see He's just enthusiastic but often misinformed, certainly not something which warrents hordes of lemmings jumping on the "Bash Teo Bandwagon"
At least he actively participates in interesting and informative discussions.

But there is a chance that it could be as potent as HBWR seeds, you never know. I mean, how did we find out all we know without testing it? I mean, vendors sell it, so we know that it's not "deadly". Someone here should start at a small dose, and work their way up. I really want to know, because I would rather grow this than an MG vine.

I would not say that at all, I just don't think it's safe....A chemical analysis is what we need...
Just because vendors sell something DOES NOT mean it is safe...they sell plenty of brugmansia, henbane and belladonna don't they?

Actually, I've never seen any vendors sell any Solana's at all...
But I WILL eat a cactus... I found a 4.5 lb, 17" San Pedro on ebay!

thanks Nalim
Pantera.... ya know it smelled just like hay when I cut it up. a horse would eat it fast lol. and yeah I wouldn't feed a horse with it. I actually kept trimming the grass when it got 2 feet tall for about a year till it ran out of rootspace.
