consider St. John's Wart. Caution if you have Manic depressive episodes.

I think that's a really good list. Don't bother with the St. John's Wort if you're already taking L-tryptophan. That will work better. If the L-tryptophan doesn't work well, try taking 5-HTP. 5-HTP is a precursor to tryptopan, which is a precursor to seratonin, but I believe that 5-HTP is assimilated more efficiently by the body because it's more able to cross the brain-blood barrier.

Actually, 5-HTP is what L-Tryptophan is converted to in the brain. Taking the supplement puts 5-HTP in your bloodstream, something that never happens naturally. L-Tryptophan is available naturally from food whereas 5-HTP isn't.
