Indoor LSA

I'm very interested in growing my own LSA, and I was wondering, is it possible to grow an LSA vine indoors? Given that you have enough light, would they flower by themselves in an 18-6 light cycle? Would you have to hand pollenate?

Ummm... I was under the impression that Sleepy grass DOES produce LSA... therefore it is related to the thread.

Heya,
I got a HBWR growing in approx 40 litre pot indoors. It's around a year old at the moment and covering one whole wall of the room. The only lighting I have for it is 250W Metal Halide which lights only small part of the plant as it tends to grow HUGE leaves towards the light source, which shadow the longer "branches" going around the wall, and smaller leaves on the "braches" outside direct light from the MH (of course it gets some light from window aswell (naughty window facing north)).
With decent lighting and a big bigger pot it propably would grow tons faster than it grows at the moment It had some flowers aswell earlier this summer, but I wasn't successful in pollinating them for seeds. I didn't even have any particular time cycle to induce flowering, an accident really.

It does have lsa, the fungi and plant have a symbiotic relation. Ive read about it, but from what ive read its not something you wanna ingest for lsa.

I don't know, I'm just looking for something that can produce a good psychedelic trip... I was thinking of growing DMT and an MAOI, and I would be satisfied having an Ayahuasca trip once a year... what do you guys think?

It's easy for me to get mushrooms, I have a relative who grows very potent ones, and he's been doing it for 10+ years... I only recently found out about it... I'm more interested in something that will keep producing, year after year.

I tried growing Rivea Corymbosa indoors. The tips turn black and die. Outside it grows fine.

Well growing MG indoors would be hard because you need a shit ton of seeds and so you have to grow a bunch of vines. I would say go with HBWR vines but you will have to hand pollinate them and that just sounds like a bitch. I have MG and they have yet to produce one seed, maybe I need to hand pollinate them. Want a good trip then don't grow LSA I would recommend Salvia or cactus. Salvia is easy to grow indoors but if you don't like Salvia then I would say a cactus would be your best bet. I am not sure how easy it would be to grow a cactus indoors but if you could get it to work then that would be the best. Salvia is nice but if you are going through all the effort to grow a plant then extract some chemical from it then get something that last longer then 5 mins.

To the OP- What is your General geographic location? Climate?
It would most likely be very easy to have a cactus outside in the summer(Which can grow up to 12in a season) and bring it inside for the winter...

Hmm, that's four trips a year... that sounds pretty good... well, what happens when you top it? Like, could you let it grow 24 in tall, cut it in half and trip, then let it get back to 24 in?

And those will grow too? So that means by topping it, it will branch off, and it will double the final product? Then I can just cut the pups off, and start again...

Yeah. But you should cut the pups off let them callous and then plant them. They will develop their own root system.

Yep I had some morning glories a few years ago. use a paintbrush on th flowers to pollinate them.
That sounds good... how many seeds did you get out of it?

I see... I assume it wasn't enough to dose, then?
Anyway, it wouldn't be possible to grow a cactus under fluorescent, would it? What if they were really bright?

No I didn't say that...you CAN top them and get more...but I normally don't top mine...but if you looking simply to trip, it sounds like topping is your best bet...
Royer...do we always have to fight?
Your right...ok?
I was thinking with only 1 tip, and you corrected me, thank you...

I'm not ONLY looking to trip, because I do enjoy bonding and getting to know the spirit of the plant... but I also want to use it. So, what would happen if you cut it at the base, leaving the root? Would it grow new pups straight out of the soil?

well just order a 12in cutting...cut it in half and root both halfs...It will pup and then you will have up to a total of 8 possible tips growing...
Some cacti put out less pups then others...
If your looking to trip...get T. bridgesii...do not buy a T. peruvianus(They are supposed to be more powerful, but most are not)
Just learn how to root them the right way, learn about soil and watering, and you'll be good!

I've got a few more questions... Would it be practical to grow HBWR indoors, or would it be too big? How many seeds can you get from each MG flower? How much light do MG's or HBWR's need?

Okay, from what I've heard, I think I'd be better off with a MG plant. I just don't know if I have enough light...
