The last BRF substrate thread

There have been many threads about what measurements/mix/recipe is best for a BRF cake but none have ever given a conclusive answer ,so this question is for all the experts ,what is the best mix for BRF cake? Hopefully this thread will put an end to this repetative question.

Common courtesy and respect isn't too much to ask. After anyone has been here for a year, they've already seen most questions asked. The new folks don't have that benefit. The search function will answer a lot of questions, but it really isn't something to get into a tizzy about. We all need to chill sometimes, especially me. RR

How I do it:
Take 140ml vermiculite for each half-pint jar you want to fill. Add as much water as it can hold. Add brown rice flour in handfuls, stirring well between each, until flour starts to build up on the sides of your mixing bowl. Don't add water after you've added the flour, as this will make the mixture more prone to compaction, instead of being light and fluffy.

I don't understand the anger that new growers recieve from experianced growers. The question in this thread is a ligitimte one. Perhaps somebody has had better results with an experimental mix that most grow guides do not list. If all the questions are answered and experianced growers know all the tricks of the trade.... then why would they continue to come to this message board? Personaly I have always had great results with a basic 1/2 cup vermiculite, 1/4 cup brown rice flour, and 1/4 cup water mix. This has never failed me and my growing philosophy is "If it's not broke, don't fix it."
