those in pursuit of "awakening"

I fell for it myself. A very selfish path which seems right. In the end it leads to death. Those who love life will find life in Jesus.
I was in a mental hospital for a month after entertaining the idea that I was sent here by God to help others like Jesus.
The path to awakening is littered with much evil and deceit. Ultimately it is walking away from God in search of what you want for yourself. What you want God to be.
But we are not God. We did not create any of this and we can't take credit for anything that we do ultimately because we were given everything that we have.
To those out there who can still see and hear, stop and look at what you are doing. It's much easier to learn from others' mistakes than from our own. Maybe not as effective.
I spent some time on this board and I know the likely responses. Sadly I was misled and bought into a lot of garbage myself. My mind became polluted and makes life difficult today. It seems that my mind does its own thing. Very rebellious, but getting better.
This whole movement is one of ignorance and rebellion. If I would have spent even a tenth of my time considering the Bible over my other sources, I would have saved myself much grief.
Sadly most are willingly ignorant of the Bible.
But we will be held accountable for even the things we don't know. I just hope I didn't mess up too much myself.
Don't wait for the point of no return because there is much more than what can be seen here. More than just living these few years together. More than can even be imagined.

Those who love life will find life in Jesus.
So you trade one mental aberration for another and call that healing.

It is not empty like everything else I encountered which kept me thirsty for truth.
I was full of arrogance and pride. Evil is quite real and it is a master of deception and half truths.

As God did not create himself, he does not get to take any credit either.

"Empty, but with such fullness"
To want an "awakening" or "enlightenment" for one's own sake is selfish. If I've learned anything from any religion or faith or philosophy, it's to lose the self. To do for others, for their sake. Instead of obtaining some sort of revelation, it seems to be more like... realizing you already had it.
I do agree that Jesus was an awakened soul.. but I'm not so sure he was the only one. Many have come and went. Many have given.

Jesus is at best a symbol. Just like words. Or images... When we take Jesus to be more than that (or god or anything/anybody else) we give out from our personal power and freedom. This is how problems start.

Evil and deceit are only mental constructs. Once we tune off from them we find balance. Thinking that they really exist also take away from our power and freedom.

How do you know that? From what I distinguish, we create A LOT and we might even be creating even more, without even being aware of what we're doing. Thinking that there's an outside force that's creating, besides the fact that it has no foundation, is also a form of escapism and assuming the role of passive observers. This can easily lead to submission.

Establishing what's more effective and what we should or not do (is this case stop and listen) belongs to personal choice and interfering with other's path is not quite a wise choice because we can do more harm that good. Nature (letting things happen when they can and have the opportunity) has shown that it has a way of letting things expand in their own.

I have something to object against the term "I was mislead". You were not mislead, because nobody mislead you. You did that to yourself.

What do you base this statement upon? I can easily (and provable) say that when one find oneself in difficult, desperate situations, one has the instinct to hang on to fixed, good old ideologies, which in extent will make one think of all the rest as being rebellious, ignorant, detrimental. Maybe bible worked for you (though I'd call it the placebo effect but I am not going to expand on that argument more), but I don;t see why and how it should work for anybody else in here, at least in the form that's being "advertised".

Sadly? At that risk if making use of conflicting terms, I'd say thank god.

I also agree that Jesus was a fictional character.

You have to understand that they didn't have comics back then...
I wonder if Batman will be taken as a god in the future

As in your past you will most likely in the future be repeating this,It is not empty like everything else I encountered Of course no one sees themselves doing this because they are asleep.
The rest of what you said is just non-sense from some religion.
