i found a grassfield with lots of horse shit on it directly out of the older horse shit, mushrooms (mostly brown, some grey) grow out, which look exactly like liberty caps now i just read, that psilocybe semilanceata do not grow out of the shit directly, but beside it what kind of mushroom could that be? you think it's liberty caps? could it be something else? they do not turn blue, if i touch them, btw

This should be in the hunting forum. Read the rules for asking for identification. You a more detailed description, pictures and a spore print.
Psilocybe semilanceata do not always blue. Sometimes they do at the base though.

This should be in hunting but I see no reason to not help you out. In general semilanceatas grow in the close vicinity of dung but not on it. Maybe they sometimes grow on very old and leached out dung though.
Here's a post I've made earlier on IDing them:
Quote:
One important tip is that when they are semi-dry(if you're gathering them a afternoon with no rain) they are gray/whitish and rubbery.. If they are moist(say you're out in the night with a flashlight, or soon after a rain) they are slimy and brownish, sometimes very dark.. If you are out when they are in a drier state you could try first to feel if they got a rubbery feel, if they do, try wetting your finger with saliva and rubbing it against the cap, it should pretty fast become darker and the texture should change so it feels like the skin of a wet frog.. Also if you try bending the foot/stalk of the shroom it should be pretty hardy, if it breaks before 90degrees its probably something else...
The gills are most often coloured a bit dark.. brown or grey/brown.. darker=older=more spores and less potency(at least true for other species).. Don't trust the shroom if you find a bunch of them an the gills of them all are light: white or gray. There are some lookalikes so when you have picked the ones you think are right go online and compare the ones you've picked with pictures of what you know is the real deal..
Hope that helps...

Do a spore print first. Does it have a bell curve? Does the cap have a separable gelatinous pellicle (a membrane that you can separate from the cap)? Is it a distinct tight nipple rather than just a tip of cone? Make sure all of the mushrooms are the same as poisonous ones can grow among the liberty caps. Be a hundred percent sure. It is very dangerous just identifying by look alone as there are so many other little brown mushrooms. Otherwise you are taking an unnecessary risk. If you do eat them save a few for a sample to give a doctor if anything goes wrong. That way they will have a better idea of a way to treat you. Be over cautious. Even the experts die sometimes.

just compared it to some pics of galerina marginata and it could well be one of this species do galerinas grow on/beside horseshit too? most of my collected shrooms have that nipple on top and you can pull of the skin off the cap some however do only have a very very tiny nipple on top and you cannot pull the skin off the cap the colour of these is not brown, but grey i also noticed that some of the pins are grey, others are brown can any poisonous mushrooms grow on/beside horseshit? thanks in advance

If you haven't already, read the rules for the hunting forum and post there. There will be a lot more people more experienced than me to help you.
