earlier me and a friend were eating some shroomies. since i can hardly stand the thought of what i'm eating, i cut the caps and stems into manageable pieces and swallow them with some water. she was chewing them, explaining that by chewing them and using your teeth it would help.

i'm just wondering... does it really matter how you get them in your stomach? i thought it was a matter of 'any way you can'... but am i wrong?

I think chewing them with your teeth is good. Water is a good chaser.
this is my method. I believe your body can tell you accurate doses with this method. ,, trying to say your stomach can tell you when you have ate enough,, because you will not be able to eat any more, with this method.

when you chew, the effects come on faster, if u don;t it just takes longer.

The more surface area exposed to digestive fluid the faster you will come up and the harder you will trip. If it is in big chunks it would take a while for your body to digest and it wouldn't work as well.

If they went straight to the stomach, it would just take longer. It makes it quite interesting though, because the effects don't all seem to hit it once, it slowly and slowly keeps building gradually.
