Why do people always want to give humankind such a big role in this whole galaxy. Everyone always wants to give some bigger purpose to their lifes. Can't people see nature doesn't give a fuck about us. Even if a rock would trash our planet, it would just be coincidental ; why immediately give some dimensionshift meaning to it all. Lots of you fellows (like shroomism) always rabble on and on about the beauty of it all, but if you would REALLY see that, you wouldn't have to bring hocus-pocus in your life you would just be in awe sitting in front of a tree and admiring the thousand and thousands of microbiological structures living in it and keeping balance in life. Its the urge to find a meaning to it all which brought us destructive religion, but more important boundaries saying thus what is good and what is evil....
Ohw this is my first post by the way (have been watching you gay bastards for over a year or so though). Greetings you earthlings...
edit: man, i didn't want to make a whole topic, just a reply to the tool, niburu blabla-one. Sorry ppl
edit: wtf, why does replying automatically makes me post a new topic. This way then in reply to shroomism:
Reading your posts I always get the strong feeling you NEED this spiritual magic in your life. When I look at the sheer genius of mother nature there is nothing to need for any further, there remains only fulfillment (i guess even more than that) and pure happiness for being alive. Don't look for some higher plane: you're already feeling it, looking at it breathing it. Don't find reasons why all that serves humankind in some way....you serve it!!
edit: hey shroomalicious, i like your post. I must admit i also didn't like the "tone" of the post making everything i said look like i wrote it as a fact. I guess my english skills don't allow me to speak the same way i do in my normal language. I don't agree on every part in your reply, but i'm at work so i cannot get into details about it for the moment. No bother though, i enjoy your openness towards discussion. The 'gay bastards' passage wasn't meant to offensive anyone. I guess it's the fact i study at a university where 90% is male (and YES, that IS tough <-this is a fact ) and perhaps you can imagine the kind of humor we have here in our everyday life's. Sorry though... gotta get back to work....

Hello and welcome to the board! Glad to see you!
I disagree with some of what you had to say friend...
What makes you think nature "doesn't give a fuck" about us? I think nature regards us with the same "rules" it does all creatures...I think everytime we overstep our means, we pay somehow. IMO, I think nature loves us as as much as it has loved all it has created and all it will destroy.
I think you are presenting an aweful lot of your opinion as fact. First of all, you suggest that guys like me and Shroomism don't see that beauty in life ("but if you REALLY saw that..."). Second, you say we bring "hocus-pocus" into our lives, but what exactly do you mean by "hocus-pocus"? Do you mean meditation and Psychedelics? And who says that is merely "hocus-pocus"? You? More opinion. You also assume that we don't just sit and admire trees...how can you know this? Furthermore, not only do you assume a lot of things that you have no way of knowing but you say you know our meaning to our lives: "Its the urge to find a meaning to it all..."
Ohw this is my first post by the way (have been watching you gay bastards for over a year or so though).
I don't see why it is required for you to call us derogatory, offensive and (IMO) homophobic names...what does this accomplish?
Reading your posts I always get the strong feeling you NEED this spiritual magic in your life. When I look at the sheer genius of mother nature there is nothing to need for any further, there remains only fulfillment (i guess even more than that) and pure happiness for being alive. Don't look for some higher plane: you're already feeling it, looking at it breathing it. Don't find reasons why all that serves humankind in some way....you serve it!!
What spiritual magic are you refering? If you are once again refering to meditation and Psychedelics I don't see anymore "magic" in them then I do in sitting and watching a tree. Furthermore, I believe we are feeling and breathing the "higher plane" already as well, so why am I not suppose to examine it for beauty and meaning?
As far as I can tell I am very fullfilled...
Thank you for your times and thoughts...it is nice to talk with a wide spectrum of people...BTW, opinions are good, opinions are great...just don't present them as fact please.

Aye.
Oh, and nature's beauty does strike awe in me; oftentimes I sit and admire it with no thoughts accept pure awe. Reminds me of being innocent...

Welcome!........lets see, to me you seem slightly pompous, IAloneAmTheBest.....Ok... Why insult anyones lifestyle or beliefs? Assuming yours is more 'fact' based. Humans really have no clue as to what the hell is going on in this strange thing called "life". I sometimes feel as if i have reached the point of insanity thinking about the endless possibilities of everything and anything. Opinions, beliefs, opinions, beliefs, views, theories, opinions, beliefs, thoughts.....its a neverending circle.....While we are alive we will never really know what this is all about....just be open to anything and everything....endless possibilities. Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we dont know what is going to happen. Peace, Trev
